Having your wheel alignment checked should be part of your standard vehicle maintenance procedures. Wheel Alignment, or tracking, consists of adjusting the wheel’s angles so that they are set to the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications. These adjustments reduce tyre wear, ensure that the vehicle travels in a straight line (without “pulling” to one side) and ensure fuel efficiency.
Your wheels can become misaligned by hitting potholes, the kerb or by excessive wear to steering or suspension components. Incorrectly aligned wheels can cause excessive wear to your tyres, an increase in fuel consumption and an uncomfortable ride.
